This year's Network Information Security Summer School, in its 6th edition, is taking place in Heraklion, Greece and has a dedicated theme: "Security Challenges of Emerging Technologies".
This theme refers to the security challenges and opportunities posed by new Network Infrastructures such as 5G and new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Machine Learning etc. The audience includes policy makers from EU Member States and EU Institutions, decision makers from industry and members of the academic community, participating in the breakout sessions and trainings designed to enhance dialogue and the exchange of ideas.
The NIS Summer School offers the opportunity to non-profit organisations/activities in the area of Cyber Threat Intelligence, such as EU Horizon 2020 projects, national academic Research and Development projects, open source communities, etc., to disseminate their work through this event.
PANACEA Research, which is joining the event with FORTH as co-organisers, promotes a culture of people-centric cybersecurity in hospitals and care centres in Europe to improve their ability to respond to cyber-attacks, in line with ENISA's objectives.
