In this short video, PANACEA partners describe how the project is adopting a people-centric approach to cyber risks in healthcare organisations.
In just three words, they describe PANACEA as ambitious, innovative, human-centric, but most of all "challenging"!
Although more attention is being paid to cybersecurity in healthcare, the sector still has a long way to go to improve its resilience to a growing threat surface and inherent vulnerabilities including human error. This is why PANACEA is tackling the challenges from a technological, risk goverance and human behaviour perspective.
Ultimately, PANACEA is an opportunity to bring about major improvements in cybersecurity in the healthcare sector. The Toolkit being developed in PANACEA will allow healthcare organisations to focus on risk governance, dynamic risk assessment, identity management and authentication, security by design and compliance, secure information sharing, secure behaviour nudging, training and education.
