Training and Education for Cybersecurity
VALUE PROPOSITION
The PANACEA Secure Behaviour Education and Learning package is designed to show to all people who work in Health Care Organisations (HCO) the close relationship between secure cyber-related behaviour and practices, and the health and well-being of patients. The learning is based on a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and applies proven pedagogical methods and modern digital media to appeal to as broad a range of learners as possible. Totally independent of any language, it enables learning to take place wherever and whenever the learner has the opportunity to access it. The learning aims to promote behavioural change by personalising the consequences of inappropriate cybersecurity behaviour to the learner, the learner’s patients and the healthcare organisation itself.
The Education Tool complements the technical tools by stimulating behaviour change through educating all individuals working in and with the HCO to the importance of their individual behaviour in creating a secure cyber environment for them and their patients.
In addition, the Education Tool demonstrates the holistic approach of the PANACEA solution by not only addressing the potential weaknesses of governance, policy and technology but by targeting the cause and effect of real human behaviour on cybersecurity, using a systematic approach to identifying the underlying reasons for the behaviours, and barriers to change.
